Hi, I'm pretty sure this is a very known issue, but I don't know how to fix this. I get this when booting the kernel: Subsystem revision 20020611 Vendor "PTLTD " System " DSDT " Revision 0x6040000 has a known ACPI BIOS problem. Reason: Multiple problems. This is a non-recoverable error So I think my bios has a bug, www.compaq.com doesn't work so I can't flash the bios. I think got my dsdl but it doesn't compile, this is the output: Intel ACPI Component Architecture ASL Compiler X2046 [Jun 11 2002] Includes ACPI CA Subsystem version 20020611 Copyright (C) 2000 - 2002 Intel Corporation Supports ACPI Specification Revision 2.0a pacpidump/t.dsdl 240: Method(_BTP, 1) { Warning 2019 - ^ Mixed return types in method (_BTP) pacpidump/t.dsdl 805: Method(ENAB, 2, Serialized) { Warning 2019 - Mixed return types in method ^ (ENAB) pacpidump/t.dsdl 1890: PWST, 2, Error 1051 - ^ Access width of Field Unit extends beyond region limit pacpidump/t.dsdl 1893: PMST, 1 Error 1051 - ^ Access width of Field Unit extends beyond region limit pacpidump/t.dsdl 1904: Method(_GLK, 1) { Warning 2024 - ^ Reserved method has too many arguments ( _GLK requires 0) pacpidump/t.dsdl 2208: Method(_WAK, 1) { Warning 2026 - ^ Reserved method must return a value (_WAK) ASL Input: pacpidump/t.dsdl - 2330 lines, 88757 bytes, 1587 keywords Compilation complete. 2 Errors 4 Warnings So, I'll attach my dsdl, might be someone can help me. It was obtained with the modified version of acpidump for FreeBSD. -- Felipe Contreras |
