Hi, I would like to define a complex test scenario with Abbot, in this scenario, I will actually launch TWO GUI applications so that I can check the events exchanged between these (from the user's viewpoint). First I had thought about defining 2 independent scripts using forked mode (at least for one of them) and then create a specific JUnit TestCase that would launch both scripts at the same time (by starting a Thread to launch one). Although I believe this solution would work, I don't like it much because it splits the compelx scenario in 2 different scripts, which anybody could believe can run independently of each other (which is not correct of course). Then I had a better idea that would consist in having a specialized abbot Step, let's call it "parallel", that would contain sub steps (like a Sequence) but would launch these steps in parallel. Is this is a good idea? Did someone already start working on the same kind of thing (I am a bit lazy and also in a hurry so I'd prefer find something "out of the box";-)) In case this does not exist, any piece of advice on how to write such a class would be appreciated (please note that I am still a newbye to abbot, only 3 weeks of use, working exclusively with costello, no hand-written JUnit test case). Cheers Jean-Francois ___________________________________________________________________________ Faites de Yahoo! votre page d'accueil sur le web pour retrouver directement vos services préférés : vérifiez vos nouveaux mails, lancez vos recherches et suivez l'actualité en temps réel.
