DCMMS is a web-based GIS application to record

networks. This release is a bug fix release that fixes problems
when updating from DCMMS version 1.0.1. In
addition, it provides updated French translations
and additional documentation on the update process.

The changes in this release include new and updated workorder and maintenance types, an improved translation system, a workorder aging report, several user interface improvements, Italian and Thai localizations, bug fixes and documentation improvements.

PostGIS adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL
object-relational database. In effect, PostGIS "spatially enables" the
PostgreSQL server, allowing it to be used as a backend spatial database
for geographic information systems (GIS).

With GEOS 2.0.0, PostGIS now sports robust geometry buffering, and

Version 1.0.1 of the DC Maintenance Management
System is available from http://dcmms.sourceforge.net.

This version includes updated documentation, an
improved installation process (please use the updated DCMMS Scripting installer), a new landmark tool that allows to move landmarks, an improved identify tool,, an enhanced data model, bug fixes and a new application log, improved user interface. Analysis functions and the possibility to purge workorders from the web interface are accessible through the web interface now.

PostGIS adds OpenGIS functionality to PostgreSQL.

The installer is no using Cygwin PostgreSQL 7.4 and GEOS 1.0.0. The uninstallation has been improved. New icons have been added.

This version includes updated and extended documentation, an improved installation process, new tool to update landmarks. Icons were added and the user interface is more colorful. A clearer workorder form, web-based backup and restore are available.

Uninstallation works now via "Add or Remove
Programs" from the Windows Control Panel. The password of the postgres account is now Dcmms{1}

creation and a RPM for SuSE Linux 8.2.
The Windows installer creates an uninstaller.

An updated sample data installer is available.
The installer checks now the database connection
and verifies the number of records in the three tables
after installation.
