UFFS: Ultra-low-cost Flash File System, designed for NAND flash working in embedded system. UFFS typically consumes less then 200K ram for 1Gb(page 512)/4Gb(page 2K) NAND flash. It supports direct flash interface, works with or without OS.

This is a small library that allows comunicating with a Webasto (tm) W-Bus capable car heating system. Runs on Personal Computers or for embedded devices (slim design). Easily portable. Includes a Heater manager, heater controller program and more. The GIT repository (CVS is deprecated) also includes a control unit application to control W-Bus capable devices, a W-Bus compatible heater unit firmware application and a heater simulator for testing purposes. Also, a serial port loop back driver for linux is included to simulate OBD II K-Line adapters.

comFramework presents a flexible, widely customizable CAN communication interface for embedded applications; it covers the CAN stack down to the hardware driver. Signal based application code is linked to the frame based HW abstraction layer. The interface imposes easy to fulfill requirements on the integration environment and will fit in most embedded platforms. A powerful code generator auto-codes those parts of the interface, which depend on your specific CAN network databases; particularly the unpack/pack functions for message (de)composition are generated. The high degree of flexibility results from using the template engine StringTemplate V4 by Terence Parr, see www.stringtemplate.org. The engine is fed with the parsed contents of the *.dbc files and can transform the information in nearly any kind of textual representation. Major samples demonstrate how to interface the generated CAN API with dSPACE TargetLink and MathWorks Embedded Coder to support model based APSW design.

The GoodFET is an open source JTAG programmer based upon the Texas Instruments Flash Emulation Tool. While retaining partial compatibility with the TI design, the eventual goal of this project is standalone firmware with no proprietary components.

FunkOS is an RTOS for 8-32 bit MCUs including AVR, MSP430, and Cortex M3. Both C and C++ kernels avaiable. Key features include preemption, periodic events, device drivers, and mutex/semaphores. Includes a variety of graphics and filesystem middleware. Please also check out FunkOS's big brother, Mark3OS. Mark3OS is slightly larger, but is more scalable, much more feature-rich, and supports a wider variety of devices.

Terminal-BASIC is a BASIC-like language interpreter, works on a set of single board embedded systems (i.e. famous AVR uc based boards). OpenSOC86 is an open implementation of the x86 architecture in Verilog. The current version only implements the 16-bit part (real mode). The processor is a pipelined architecture clocked at 100 MHz in a Cyclone II speed grade -6. Therefore it can be seen as similar to a 486 in real mode. Several peripherals are also implemented in a somewhat minimalistic way, but enough to be able to boot an IBM PCXT compatible bios and MSDOS 6.22. The current implementation is only proven to boot the bios and DOS in simulation. The system is targeted to run on the DE2-70 board. In order to run the system in hardware a SDRAM and SRAM controller need to be added. These are currently in development.

Firmware to run the TrendNET TEW-652BRP version 2.x wireless router in client mode. Based on GPL firmware provided by TrendNET and modified to change the operating mode of the router from Access Point to wireless client.

This library controls many Silicon Laboratories Si47xx family radio chips with an Arduino microcontroller. Major features include: • I2C and SPI bus • Supports "original" (Uno, Duemilanove, and their clones), Mega 2560, Leonardo, and Due Arduinos • FM/AM receive modes; including short, medium, and long wave AM • Analog and/or digital audio output • FM RDS and RBDS • Localization of receive bands, channel spacing, FM de-emphasis, and RDS/RBDS • Correctly decodes RBDS PI codes into station's call letters • Can handle a mix of RDS and RBDS stations as found near the US boarders with Canada and Mexico • Example programs I2C and Due support is alpha because I do not have hardware to test these features.

Encode bitmap(bmp) file with run-length encoding(RLE), just like RLE4 and RLE8, but extend to RLE16, RLE24 and RLE32. Usually, this project will be used in GUI of embedded system, to make the image files smaller, and save the IO bandwith. If the GUI support JPG or PNG, the compression ratio is much better than RLE, but how about the embedded system encounters both caculate limitation and IO bandwidth limitation? Try this project, I hope it can make a banlance between caculation and bandwidth. But first of all, you should know that the compression ratio of RLE is highly depend on the bitmap file data, the ratio can larger than 1, only when the same color continuously repeats in one line, it will gain a smaller compression ratio.

A simple Embedded System Framework that allows rapid development of applications build for AVR family. System is based on a super-loop architecture with check and skip (no-wait) flag event driver system. Supports: UART, SysTick Timer, ADC, SPI, EEPROM, PWM. ArduSim provides API level simulation of an Arduino. Arduino sketches can be run and debugged on PC with no modification. ArduGate is a sub-project of ArduSim. The agent sketch is shared.

This is an Arduino Library for the Advatel TCD226R Ledboard (160 cols x 7 Rows Red Leds). This library allows several text transitions and includes a demo that supports both serial and SD Card input.

MinopsOS is a tiny operating system for PC computers. It's small enough to fit inside the boot sector of a floppy disk.

WinDS is a Reimplementation of the OS Windows(R) XP(R) on the Platform Nintendo DS. Since i started coding Apps for the NDS, my goal was to write a program, called WinDS, which does (nearly) the same as the real appy by Microsoft. In contrast to other little NDS-Operating Systems, just like Woopsi etc. you can code your own Application in Lua for WinDS: just copy the Code onto the FAT-Disk and execute it from within WinDS! This is what makes WinDS so unique. The New Beta 0.95 is out, it features - 52 Classes that are already available within Lua - 25 different types of user interface classes - 8 different predefined dialogs which makes it the perfect GUI sandbox for DS. PS: More time without update means: next update will have even more improvements, as i am still developing ;)

pFFh is a programming language that allows you to launch applications on embedded systems safely, quickly and comfortably. pFFh runs on the target system, combining operation as a command interpreter and code compiler. We can say that pFFh behaves like an operating system on the board under development. All pFFh needs is a serial or USB-serial channel to communicate, and through it, receive and process console commands, either from a keyboard or from files sent from a desktop computer. At present, pFFh is implemented for the PIC18FxxQ4x/Q7x family of microcontrollers. The code has been run and tested on the PIC18F16Q40, PIC18F16Q41, PIC18F57Q43 and PC18F56Q71 "Curiosity Nano” boards.

DruidBSD is a FreeBSD micro-distribution that supports CD/DVD, USB, and HD booting into a Live BSD Distribution.

This is a Dynamic C port of the BACnet stack at http://sourceforge.net/projects/bacnet. This BACnet library provides a BACnet application layer, network layer and MAC layer communications services for systems based on the Rabbit 4000, 5000 and 6000 processors. The rich feature set of the BACnet stack provides an ideal platform for developing Rabbit based control devices which can use the many BACnet tools out there to reduce the development time and effort.

BlackLib library is wrote for controlling Beaglebone Black's feature. It takes power from C++ language. It is created for reading analog input, generating pwm signal, using gpio pins, and communicating with other devices over uart, spi and i2c. In addition to them, it includes debugging feature. So you can check errors after call any function in the library.
