TCNOpen is an open source initiative which the partner railway industries created with the aim to build in collaboration some key parts of new or upcoming railway standards, commonly known under the name TCN. TCN (Train Communication Network) is a series of international standards (IEC61375) developed by Working Group 43 of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), specifying a communication system for the data communication within and between vehicles of a train. It is currently in use on many thousands of trains in the world in order to allow electronic devices to exchange information while operating aboard the same train. JMCAD is an program for the modeling and simulation of complex dynamic systems. This includes the ability to construct and simulate block diagrams. The visual block diagram interface offers a simple method for constructing, modifying and maintaining complex system models. The simulation engine provides fast and accurate solutions for linear, nonlinear, continuous time, discrete time, time varying and hybrid system designs. With JMCAD, users can quickly develop software or "virtual" prototypes of systems or processes to demonstrate their behavior prior to building physical prototypes. The user builds his system model by selecting predefined blocks from a block library and simply wiring the blocks together. Each block of the diagram performs a function. Users can also create custom blocks in Java and add them to the JMCAD block library. JMCAD is a block diagram language for creating complex nonlinear dynamic systems.

AK Toolbox is a Matlab Toolbox for co-evolution analysis for protein Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) distributed under Simplified BSD License. The aim of AK toolbox is to provide a set of Matlab functions, which are independent of Matlab Bioinforamtics Toolbox, for coevolution anaylsis for MSA. At present, co-evolution methods available in this package are Statistical Coupling Analysis (SCA), Explicit Likelihood of Subset Covariance (ELSC), Mutual Information (MI), Observed Minus Expected Square method (OMES), McLanhlan Based Substitution Correlation (MCBASC), Direct-coupling analysis (DCA) and logR. Enclosed in this package is also an archive of different Bioinformatics matrices.

nmrshiftdb2 is a NMR database (web database) for organic structures and their nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) spectra. It allows for spectrum prediction (13C, 1H and other nuclei) as well as for searching spectra, structures and other properties. The nmrshiftdb2 software is open source, the data is published under an open content license. The core of nmrshitdb2 are fully assigned spectra with raw data and peak lists (we have pure peak lists as well). Those datasets are peer reviewed by a board of reviewers. The project is supported by a scientific advisory board. nmrshiftdb2 is part of the NFDI4Chem initiative (https://nfdi4chem.de/) and will provide a component for a curated repository there. Please consult the documentation for more detailed information.

The Safe C Library provides bound checking memory and string functions per ISO/IEC TR24731. These functions are alternative functions to the existing standard C library that promote safer, more secure programming. The ISO/IEC Programming languages — C spec, C11, now includes the bounded APIs in Appendix K, "Bounds-checking interfaces". This latest upload supports building static library, a shared library and a linux kernel module.
