TCNOpen is an open source initiative which the partner railway industries created with the aim to build in collaboration some key parts of new or upcoming railway standards, commonly known under the name TCN. TCN (Train Communication Network) is a series of international standards (IEC61375) developed by Working Group 43 of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), specifying a communication system for the data communication within and between vehicles of a train. It is currently in use on many thousands of trains in the world in order to allow electronic devices to exchange information while operating aboard the same train. AK Toolbox is a Matlab Toolbox for co-evolution analysis for protein Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) distributed under Simplified BSD License. The aim of AK toolbox is to provide a set of Matlab functions, which are independent of Matlab Bioinforamtics Toolbox, for coevolution anaylsis for MSA. At present, co-evolution methods available in this package are Statistical Coupling Analysis (SCA), Explicit Likelihood of Subset Covariance (ELSC), Mutual Information (MI), Observed Minus Expected Square method (OMES), McLanhlan Based Substitution Correlation (MCBASC), Direct-coupling analysis (DCA) and logR. CBFLIB is a library of ANSI-C functions providing a simple mechanism for accessing Crystallographic Binary Files (CBF files) and Image-supporting CIF (imgCIF) files. The CBFLIB API is loosely based on the CIFPARSE API for mmCIF files.

'atlc' is a CAD package used for analysing and desiging electrical transmission lines of arbitrary cross section. Also for the design of directonal couplers. Some parts are CPU intensive, so multiple CPUs are supported.

Stripe Snoop reads the contents of a magstripes (Track 1, 2, or 3) through different hardware interfaces and not only displays the contents, but uses a CDDB-like database of card formats to try and figure out what the contents mean.

MMTL, the Multilayer Multiconductor Transmission Line 2-D and 2.5-D electromagnetic modeling tool suite, generates transmission parameters and SPICE models from descriptions of electronics interconnect dimensions and materials properties.

The Safe C Library provides bound checking memory and string functions per ISO/IEC TR24731. These functions are alternative functions to the existing standard C library that promote safer, more secure programming. The ISO/IEC Programming languages — C spec, C11, now includes the bounded APIs in Appendix K, "Bounds-checking interfaces". This latest upload supports building static library, a shared library and a linux kernel module.

This project reimplements from scratch the RPL language made popular by HP programmable calculators, in portable C/C++. The main goal is to release a complete computing environment for various targets. There's currently 4 active targets: the HP 50g, HP39gs and HP40gs calculators and a PC simulator (see the downloads section!). Other ports are planned for the future.

NASPRO, acronym for "NASPRO Architecture for Sound PROcessing" is a collection of free and open source sound processing software built around the LV2 plugin standard.

The software package 'relax' is designed for the study of molecular dynamics through the analysis of experimental NMR data. Organic molecules, proteins, RNA, DNA, sugars, and other biomolecules are all supported. It supports exponential curve fitting for the calculation of the R1 and R2 relaxation rates, calculation of the NOE, reduced spectral density mapping, the Lipari and Szabo model-free analysis, study of domain motions via the N-state model and frame order dynamics theories using anisotropic NMR parameters such as RDCs and PCSs, the investigation of stereochemistry in dynamic ensembles, and the analysis of relaxation dispersion data.

This project offers open source implementations for UNESCO/IFIP's Algol 68 (the Revised Report language). The project offers two implementations: Implementation 1 is Algol68G: a recent checkout hybrid compiler/interpreter by Marcel van der Veer, supporting arbitrary arithmetic, partial parametrisation, complex numbers, POSIX threads, GNU plotutils, GNU scientific library, curses, sound, TCP sockets, RegEx and PostgreSQL. Inplementation 2 is algol68toc, a port by Sian Mountbatten of the vintage Algol68RS (UK Defense Research Agency) compiler. The implementation emits C code.
