Open Source Fortran Scientific/Engineering Software

Educational software for studying quantum mechanics. This is the 3rd incarnation of QUANTX software created for Physics Department of Novosibirsk State University. The first version of this software was used in 1985-1991, and the second one was in use since 1991 till 2011. This 3rd version should be useful for universities of Russia and CIS. Translation into English is underway.

CFD code using Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian algorithm.

The aim of this project is to translate the geostatistical BMELib Matlab Toolbox (http://www.unc.edu/depts/case/BMELIB/) into Python.

Blit contains a group of highly efficient iterative sparse solvers that can handle multiple right-hand-sides (i.e. block solvers). We will implement BLQMR, BLGMRES and other block algorithms in MATLAB, FORTRAN 90, C/C++, CUDA and OpenCL.

BrennerMD is a public domain Fortran molecular dynamics program by Donald Brenner and other people. This project is to maintain the original source code and to build a Python interface on top of it.

The Canopy project is an initiative to merge and expand the functionality of Perl-speaks-NONMEM (PsN), Census, Xpose and PopED. The goal is to produce a coherent, inclusive and convenient platform for pharmacometric data analysis.

An extension of Code_Aster to add multilingual support to it's varying GUI interfaces included in the default package. Eventually, we also intend to extend Code_Aster by contributing command file templates and extending the analysis abilities.

Dodona is a molecular dynamics program which aims to treat nanostructures. It is provided with a basic interpretater language and can easily be extended with plugins. It supports basic matrix and vector manipulation in a Matlab/Octave-fashion way.

LINARP - Linarp Is Not A Rietveld Program; Software for the analysis of crystallographic data

This project provides a simple atmospheric model as a Fortran 90 library. The model solves some of the most important processes of the tropical climate system, and is suitable for example for studying ocean/atmopshere interactions.

MCF - Models Construct Framework

A reactor solver which uses stochastic particle methods to model particle population balances. This code is developed by the CoMo group in the chemical engineering department at the university of Cambridge (como.cheng.cam.ac.uk).

This is a Tcl/Tk interface to a set of FORTRAN subroutines which implement empirical formulae for Physical Sputtering, Chemical Sputtering, Radiation Enhanced Sublimation. More PSIs to be added (Backscattering, etc..)

GeoSciPy is a set of C and Python functions that provide an API for all aspects of Geoscience and Remote Sensing Applications. Functions include reading/writing of many data formats, images, vectors, ..., and processing of images, vectors, ... including map projections, ... The library is written C, using HDF5 as the file format for storage of all remotely-sensed data and ancillary data, as well as processed data. The C functions assume a particular format for the HDF5 file contents, and provide functions for reading and writing data to such files. There is also a Python API that provides a procedural as well as an object-oriented interface to these functions. A Python GUI for interacting with such datasets is also part of the project. While there are other open-source GIS, and image-processing packages available, this one is designed to be comprehensive, work on 3 major platforms, user-extensible, fast, and able to handle huge datasets. The project devoted to develop LADY software. LADY is a abbreviation formed from LAttice DYnamics toolkit. The software is the semi-emperical program which aids to simulate the dynamical property of crystals within a selected potential function.
