I have a creative labs voodoo2, glqwcl 2.30 works fine.

My computer:
Pentium 200 MMX
S3 virge DX
Creative labs Voodoo2
Soundblaster Live
64 MB RAM

Win98

I think it must be a problem with the voodoo support?

Things you might want to try (in addition of upgrading to latest drivers):

    qf-client-wgl -window
    qf-client-wgl -nosound -window
    qf-client-wgl +set vid_use8bit 1
    qf-client-wgl -brokenpopup

Upgrade or reinstall latest 3dfx drivers. Remove opengl32.dll from quake dir and make sure you use opengl icd. It has helped for all the V3/V2 users I've talked with so far. Do not use minigl in quake folder.

Use latest drivers from 3dfx, not wickedgl or others, if you have any problems with quakeforge. 3rd party Windows drivers are known for incomplete or incompatible implementations of OpenGL.
