Hi folks,
Our team has determined that our mail archives for projects is in need of some maintenance. This work will have the archives for projects off line for a total of about 6 hours starting at 2100 hour UTC today, 16 March 2010.
Once complete, we’ll post an update.
Best regards,

Hi folks,
We have made some changes to how we score and handle spam email that arrives for @users.sf.net and lists.sourceforge.net traffic.
Registered SourceForge.net users should see much less spam. However, the potential exists that you may be caught by the enhanced scoring.
Please contact us if you believe your mail is being falsely blocked.

Hello folks,
Our site statistics system is getting some maintenance. The facility will be back up at about 20:00 UTC.
Once stats is back up, the data catchup process may take about 18 to 36 hours to catch up.

Hello,
A bit delayed, but this is to let folks know that the Solr based search facility is back on-line and working well as of 2 March.

Hello again,
We are rolling back our search facility to the older model we had been using. We’re working out some issues and expect the new Solr model to be back and keeping searches working for projects and site visitors. We will update here on Site Status once this has been sorted out.
Thank you for your patience while we make a few adjustments!

Hello,
The team today has rolled out a new Apache Solr powered search facility. For full details, please see our blog post.
We’ve updated the site documentation for search as well which will help with the changes.
Cheers!

Hi folks,
SourceForge.net used to offer a subscription service that offered subscribers improved levels of service, priority project registrations, and a free ThinkGeek tee-shirt. The subscriber offerings have been extended to everyone (except the t-shirt) and project registrations are immediate. The subscription service has been discontinued as of last summer.
There were a number of folks who were subscribed with automatic renewal via PayPal. We have canceled all active subscriptions that we were able to find via PayPal.
If you were a subscriber, you should no longer see a charge for SourceForge.net. If you are charged for a subscription again, please let us know via an email message to sfnet_ops at geek.net and we’ll get the refund processed. If you are not sure if you have an active subscription still, please contact PayPal and make sure your subscription to SourceForge.net is canceled.
Best regards,
Daniel Hinojosa – Sr. Manager Support, SourceForge.net
