The database migration to new hardware was completed. We were still seeing problems with the database, though, so we have taken the stats system offline in the interim in order to ensure the site stays stable over the holiday weekend. There is no current ETA for when stats will be back and operational.
Thanks!

Hello,
As we have removed our bookmarks facility from the site, we have created data dumps for folks that had bookmarks for projects on our site.
Users that have shell accounts and that had bookmarks, can find their data in this path via the shell or SFTP/SCP:
/home/users/U/US/USERNAME/sf_bookmarks.html
This is importable to your browser.
Users who do not have a shell account but have bookmarks can get these via submitting a support ticket. We will add the dump file as an attachment to the ticket.
Cheers!

From 16:34 to 18:11 UTC today, Wednesday October 28, 2009, SourceForge.net experienced a unplanned series of outages for services involving the front page, download pages, and project summary pages. These outages were found to be caused by malfunctioning database servers. The servers were repaired during this outage and services were returned to normal. Further root-cause analysis for the malfunctions is ongoing and we are reviewing additional safety measures to prevent this failure in the future.

Greetings,
We will be taking the mailing list archive view offline while we perform some database maintenance. Earlier this morning we noted some performance issues with the database server, and are in the process of performing some much-needed maintenance on the database. No ETA at the moment for return of service.
Thanks!

As per our previous notice for the removal of DocMan and Task Manager, this work was completed today.
If you had data in either of these facilities, you may log a support ticket with us to request this data be migrated to one of our Hosted Apps facilities.
Users may also find a dump of this data in their project home directory (/home/groups/P/PR/PROJECT – where “PROJECT” represents the project UNIX name) for use in an off-site facility if so desired.
Cheers!
