Ticket #23944 (closed: self-service)
Project removal (maybe?)
|Reported by:||maxxon||Owned by:||ctsai|
Hi, I'm new here and I think I accidentally added a project as I'm not sure how it got there. The project name is u/maxxon. Could you shed some light on what it is and how it got there? Can/should I delete it?
Also, I've been playing with the system and am having a hard time wrapping my head around the label and mount point concepts. So the label is what exactly?
From my understanding the mount point is just a location to retrieve the data from, but the default label and mount point are 'Code' and 'code' respectively. So this mount point is under my project, right? And the label is... for git? I don't see a label in git, nor a branch name, but I'm still new to git so I may not be looking at it right. Oh, and can I create multiple projects? How would I do that?
Also, the Downloads area. Is that just a place where I can drop files for everyone outside of sourceforge to get them?
One other thing. If I wanted users to write tickets for bugs found, how would I do that? Is it advisable? What is your recommendation?
Sorry for all the questions, I've been trying to understand the docs, but am still having a hard time navigating/searching them.
Thanks for your help,
