Beta Tools Project Doesn't show up in software search

Reported by: mrcompiler Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: ENGR AT-518 Cc:
Private: no

My most recent project doesn't show up in the Software search no matter if I search on the long name ( UNIVERSAL MULTI-THREADED SERVER ) or the short name.

My experience with the Beta tools and the responses I've gotten to my tickets that I will probably delete the project and resubmit it using the traditional tools. When the Beta tools stabilize and SF is ready to support users I may take another crack at them.

There is a known issue right now with the search results not being updated, this is affecting all projects, not just the Beta projects. We are looking into this and I will let you know when this has been resolved.

Also, please note that the Beta project removal process is not yet complete, so if you wish to remove it to register a new project with the same UNIX name, that is not currently possible. You could however, create a new 'classic' project with a different name, then once we can remove the Beta project, we can rename your 'classic' project to 'umtsa'). If you decide to go with that route, please log a new ticket for that removal and rename.

The issue with search has been fixed. I see your project in this search: https://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=soft&words=umtsa
