Okay, we are half way there. I tried to use the auto-login feature in KeePass v1 to auto-login to a different website that has the user name and password fields on the same page. There it worked fine. That's good. Now, how best to deal with sites like Microsoft that jump from one page to the other as part of the login process?
I'm trying to set up auto logins to my KeePass password protected accounts. I'm a novice who has read the KeePass auto login help pages here and in KeePass, but something is not working right on Hotmail. The program auto-fills my user name there correctly, but not the password field. Perhaps that is because Microsoft transfers you to a second page to enter the password. And in this instance, Microsoft instead of going to the password page jumps to Outlook and asks you to create a new Outlook account....
