Switch Miner 4.21 Released
Hey Christian, can you do these with a debug running? Go to View->Debug Options and select analysis engine, snmp and snmp OID. Once it finishes you will have a log file in your %APPDATA% folder in the directory switch miner called sm.log. If you could email me the log file. Hey Peter, i looked at the log. Do you use the same community string across all your devices? It appears you may have an @ symbol in your community string. The way SNMP v2 works is to get the mac addresses of a specific VLAN you add a @<vlan num=""> to the community. So to get the MAC's from VLAN 1 you would send mycommunity@1. If you have an @ in the community like my@community@1 that may be causing the failure, if this same community works with other devices its possible it's something specific...
Hey Peter, if you could do a debug of that. In the GUI version go to view->debug options and the select snmp. Run it again and let it fail. Look in the %APPDATA% folder and there will be a folder named switch miner it should have a file sm.log. Can you send that to me? Also what type of SNMP are you using, is it v2 or v3? If v3 what priv level and protocols are you using? On Fri, Feb 21, 2020 at 4:07 AM Peter Spichtig spi314@users.sourceforge.net wrote: Hello I`ve tried to collect Data from a C9300....

Yes -f in the command line version is read from a file. You can do the same thing in the GUI version by putting multiple devices in the switch or router box seperated by a comma, So if you have three switches you wanted to capture you would put switch1, switch2, switch2 in the switch box.
Database output
Search for MAC Address
Multiple SNMP
Version 4 supports multiple community strings
