I just try to paste the content of the XML file exported (in attchment). I've also tried to move the Entry nodes under the Root node, and so I removed the Group node. No result, the Paste Entries menu is still disabled. Do you have a working example ? Thanks

I've try to export some entries as 'KeePass XML (2.x)' format, and copy the content of the file, then right click -> Clipboard -> Paste Entries but the menu item is disabled. I guess it does not recognize the format. How can I get it working ? Can you provide me a valid (and non-encrypted) XML with entries that I can paste ? Thanks

Pasting is quick. Open the menu, select the import format, find the file in your disk, confirm, is much, much too long. Do you know a faster way to insert data ?

I would like to paste Keepass entries from clipboard data generated by an other software. I see there is a way to copy and paste entries in Keepass from the clipborad, however I cannot find info on the format application/vnd.KeePass.KeePassEntries It seems to be base64 encode, encrypted (with db password?), and gzipped string. Regarding the code, it seems can accept data from non encrypted. Can somebody provide me an example of this string, unpacked ? Thanks

I re-open a previous suggestion I made : I would like to have a way to import easily an entry in an opened keepass. Actualy there is no way to store non-web or non-in-browser passwords quickly. Any way to be able to be able to send data and so open a filled new-entry window with these data, in the currently opened db. Even a simple command line should be enought. I previously suggested magnet-links, because it is easy to handle, just an url to parse in a cli arg. We could even put xml in url param...
