Well, the plugin AutoTypeSearch doesn't work as the feature request. What I mean is that, in the "Auto-Type Entry Selection" popup, there is a search box to find from the matched entries. But AutoTypeSearch: "If a global auto-type is requested, but no matching entry for the active window is found, this plugin will show a quick as-you-type search window" So, they are 2 different things.

Because there's no plugin for the requested feature. @Dominik Reichl Could you reopen the ticket?
