Thanks so what I'll do is create a group and chown GROUP the file and add myself to the group... Does that put me ahead in anyway to protect my passwords?

HI some pros have made a special group for their keepass DB and then only Keepass can open it. I guess I would put the DB into a group only directory, chgrp the DB files... but how do I assign that group to the Keepass application?
