I wanted to re-iterate how annoying the missing timestamp field is. Our PO recently requested implementing a network latency check for inbound SDC messages in our consumer and we could only tell him that this is not possible due to a missing suitable timestamp in the SDC protocol. We are now using determination timestamps instead, but this leads to situations, where "latency" is calculated to be ~1000 ms and everything is fine. The determination timestamp can by no means replace a "technical" created/sent...
