Hello Han Thanks for the clarification. I'll try to find some Lodestar images that are good enough to solve. At least I know it is worth trying. As you say I can use astrometry.net when necessary and download as new-image.fits. I have had a bit of play with ASTAP and am very impressed. I mainly do EAA / EEVA observing using a Lodestar camera and live stacking. The Lodestar has far to few pixels (440 k) for platesolving in ASTAP. I can platesolve with PS2, ASPS and astrometry.net. Is there any way I can adjust the settings in ASTAP to make platesolving possible? At the moment if I want to annotate an image or do other things within ASAP I platesolve using astrometry.net and load the fits image with its metadata into ASTAP....
