Thanks, what exactly is causing this behavior? I've never had it freeze on me before. It's a bit strange, should I use an older version to remedy the problem?

It's currently stuck cloning my main machine again. Unresponsive to any keys. Is shutting down and restartin a bad idea?

Thanks for the confirmation. Wanted to be sure. It's the first time that it has done this. Pressed all buttons, trackpad, trackpoint, keyboard and mouse, stone cold unresponsive. I got worried becauae the screen was blank isntead of fully off, caught me off guard. I usually don't forget to move the mouse. Everything in it's own time, hopefully it's not a pain to do. Version 2.6.1 jammy or oracular, one of those. As described above screen went comoletley black. Was making a backup when suddenly it all went black. Maybe a drive overheated? What should I do in order to not lose data?
