FWIW, I upgraded and the alternating colors worked as before. I resorted the title column and then alternating colors did not work. Re-sorting again restored the alternation.

Thank you. I don't have much of an understanding of the syntax/meaning of the trigger mechanism but I may keep plugging away. I like to explore and learn but I think I need a beginning beginner's guide to triggers :) TBH, I am not certain whether the suggested fix of the original problem isn't sort of a half-full/half-empty thing. Google Drive (or User2) had never messed up before and I've gone along a happy idiot with the database living on Google Drive but has always been backed up on every household...
So to get the local database on PC1 to reflect changes made on other devices (PC2) coming back through Google Drive to PC1 master database requires a MANUAL process using the menu File/Syncronize/ and one of the 3 choices sync file, sync with URL, Sync Recent Files. There is no automatic. Is this correct?
Hello. I have followed the dropbox trigger example and the password file is synced from the local file on PC1 to the master file on PC1 and to Google Drive. From there when PC2 opens the password file on Google Drive everything is intact and up-to-date. When a change is made to the password file on PC2 Google Drive syncs perfectly to the master file on PC1 BUT the local database does not sync. Do I need to set up the PC1 master file with a trigger to sync back to the PC1 local file? I thought from...
Paul, Thanks for your reply. My Keepass database is saved and stored in D:\users\username\Google Drive and there has always been syncing in both directions on all devices. I do not follow what you mean about using a local database. Isn't the D:\ location "local"? Just for fun I did create a Keepass database in a completely local folder (C:\Users\username\Documents) and then pointed Google Drive at that folder. A copy of the database then appeared on Google Drive but only in the cloud and only in...
Keepass 2.46 master file is synced in Google Drive (Backup and Sync) on two PCs (Windows 10 on both PC1 and PC2) and an Android phone using Keepass2Android. Master file is also backed up 10 sets deep via KPSimpleBackup in separate folder on same Google drive but a separate folder. This syncing arrangement has worked flawlessly for several years. Today, although User2 typically only uses PC2 there was a need to sign on to PC1. As the login to Windows progressed Windows greeted the User2 with the types...
Thanks! I think I'll take Glenn's advice to just wait...and wait...
