Hello, I would like to suggest an improvement and would like to put this up for discussion for other users. What are the reasons against storing some options (e.g. Security + Policies tab) directly in the KDXB instead of in a config file? I think these parameters should be permanently present in the database, no matter from which PC or environment I open the KDBX. There are always numerous discussions about the config file. Then the user also does not have to worry about how to secure his config...
I think a native dark mode option without any necessary of plugins would be good. This is what I would expect from a modern program in this day and age.
Thank you for explaining the reasons. It's a pity that this function is not seen in this way. Thus, I will do the adding of fields exclusively via the cumbersome Advanced Tab, so that you can make sure that you do not create "similar" stringfields. I use many fields across groups I don't give up hope for an integration of this function yet ;-) Maybe even as a setting [Entry View Options -> Show all available stringfields (check/uncheck)].

I noticed another peculiarity or improvement while editing. Depending on the folder, when you add a string name, you can only select the categories that already exist in other entries within the folder. If you go to the Advanced tab and open the dropdown menu, all stringfield names created so far are displayed. It would be an improvement if the plugin could display all possible stringfield names in the dropdown or in the autocompletion, regardless of the folder in which you are currently editing...
Thank you for the explanation. I noticed this "timeout" when I was editing fields and comments and only one history entry was created. Good job for this great plugin!
