The print preview is broken anyway in the Win32 application dialog, see: https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=230620210149040 And the page setup in the "Microsoft Print to PDF" driver is under "Avanced..." in both dialogs. Edit: I see what you mean, the two buttons before the "Print..." button. But how come Notepad does still show the "Page Setup" dialog even if I set [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Print\UnifiedPrintDialog] "PreferLegacyPrintDialog"=dword:00000001...

I see the same settings page in the shell dialog and the WebBrowser dialog, or do you mean something different? Would it possible to create a checkbox in the settings for using shell instead of WebBrowser for printing?

Yes, I can print from Notepad and WordPad. I looked at the code and I saw that the WebBrowser print just seems to be a fallback for the shell print. I wonder why the shell print fails in the program when I can call it manually in the console and create a PDF.

Today I tried it at work but it didn't work. Back home it doesn't also work here anymore. The above trick doesn't work anymore. I attached KeePass to WinDbg: ModLoad: 00007ffe`29b80000 00007ffe`29ba3000 C:\WINDOWS\system32\compstui.dll ModLoad: 00007ffd`ffd20000 00007ffd`ffd27000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSIMG32.dll ModLoad: 00007ffe`3b210000 00007ffe`3b22d000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\amsi.dll ModLoad: 00007ffe`3b210000 00007ffe`3b22d000 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\amsi.dll ModLoad: 00007ffe`29b80000 00007ffe`29ba3000...

I thought about what I changed yesterday and I actually found the problem and the solution. The problem appears when the option "Let Windows manage my default printer" is enabled. I just enabled it again (without restarting the print spooler service) and voilà the printing doesn't work anymore in KeePass. Then I disabled the option again -> no printing -> restarted the print spooler service -> printing is working again. That's why it worked today because I started my PC and the print spooler service...

OK, today it suddenly works again. I don't know what changed, there was no Windows update, only a Defender Update (KB2267602 (Version 1.421.1987.0)). https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/definitions/antimalware-definition-release-notes?requestVersion=1.421.1987.0 But I had the same issue on my work PC, will check it there tomorrow.

Is your print dialog title the same or is it the name of the program?
