I did not set anything on my end to set the dark theme up. I assumed Vice had a support with dark theme. I will take a look at GTK side then.

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on ticket #1976

I use Windows 11 x64 with dark system theme. Vice 3.8 GTK

The window dialog texts are very hard to read on dark theme on Windowns

Ok after some digging based on compyx' comment I did digging. I had controlmyjoystick installed on the system which creates an emulated joytick. Removing it solved it , but I still think that Viice should be nicer about it.

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on ticket #1971

There is no vice.ini there, but I have autostart-C64SC.d64 and sdl-vice.ini It does not look like it is related to existing ini file.

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on ticket #1971

Hi I would not know how you can produce this. I have GTK Vice 3.6 on the same system and it works fine, but GTK 3.8 one is misbehaving as in the video. Basically I can't pass the setting screen that loads. I do not have joystick attached to the PC. Is there a way to reset some settings or delete some stale stuff so I can strt it fresh?

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on ticket #1971

The mouse pointer looks in the wrong place, it is my screen recording program.

Make sure you are using scrubbing tool Ctrl-Shift-S (when the tool becomes area due to toggling) Save your movie Back to the area , the tool is not scrubbing I am sure most people will trigger shift before ctrl in the ctrl-shift-s sequence since it is easier to go with that than ctrl-shift-s (ctrl first) This is a minor issue but it would be nice if movie saving does not distinguish between ctrl-shift-s and shift-ctrl-s combo. thanks

Ok that makes sense. I am using Blender for EXR output. I will see if it can do multipart.

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion General Discussion

Hi mrViewers caching speed is quite horrible when multilayer EXRs are loaded. I am wondering if mrViewer is actualy loading and caching all the layers. If so would not it be better if it caches the default one and recaches if the user changes to another layer in the sequence. Thanks

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion Bugs

Have you tried letting it open more than 24 hours?

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion Bugs

That is really weird. I can repeat this issue with any kind of file sequence that has multiple periods in them. I tried with drag and drop or loading from the cli etc, all the same. I will see if I can give you a repeatable file sequence.

  • denyo denyo modified a comment on discussion Bugs

I can totally repeat it. Just make sure you have multiple periods in the file name, something like like filename.some-more.abitmore.period_05.%d.jpg This kind of pattern only loads a single file in mrViewer at least on Windows 10

Hi Here is a screenshot from a 3 sec movie at 30 fps. You can clearly see that it is set to 30fps and the frame is at the end. It shows 3 secs at the bottom but 2:29 at the top. Bug or?

Hi I have gone through the shortcut list but I cant find a shortcut for resetting the zoom to the actual 1:1 image size. Is there a way to do it? I can zoom in and out with "," and "."

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion Bugs

Sorry for the confusing statement. What I mean was that it is using about %.2.5 of the 12 threads not %2.5 of a single thread.

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion Bugs

I actually had multiple occasions of zombie processes. I will keep an eye on it, I realize it is not an easy case. Is it possible to lower the idle cpu given that number is proportion of the 12 thread, so it is not a small percent of a single cpu.

  • denyo denyo modified a comment on discussion Bugs

Hi It seems like if you leave mrViewer long enough in the background (all day maybe?), it starts using high CPU while being in the background. Here I have only one mrV open but there are 2 processes. Both are using cpu for doing nothing. One is clearly it is a zombie process given I only have one instance open and that is the one using %8.30 of cpu. I regularly open and close mrV all day so maybe the zombie processes happen because in some cases it does not close properly. I have these here and there....

  • denyo denyo posted a comment on discussion Bugs

Hi I was using 5.8.7 on Windows 10 x64 When I tried to save the current playback as a video most of the video output options creates unplayable video files. I think only the mpeg4 was working. I tested them with Vlc and none of the h264 etc videos played. With 5.8.8 I can't even save, it says "Could not save sequence or movie, only single frame specified use %d" The sequence is alright, mrViewer plays them fine so no idea what the issue is. I am just using "file- save -sequence/movie"

Hi I use left and right for bac and forward 1 frame and up and down for forward and backward playback. Once the video is playing and stopped, it seems like these shortcuts do not work. To me it seems like the value fields steal the focus so these shortcuts are not available at all. It looks like it is the ui since the app is not even aware of any window activity it seems. Btw MrViewer used to work well on my system very well couple years ago but I am sorry that I cant pinpoint the right versions. I am guessing they were early version 4 and 3 releases.

I tried it with windows explorer and double commander. I do not have any issues with drag and drop in any program, so this is definetely not a mouse or system issue. I an infact drag and drop the same movies/files into Djv and it works with it. In MrViewer it looks like nothing is happening.

Loading lib is Ffmpeg, which suffers from the color and the gamma issue. I change it to oiio or imagemagick, then I get only the gamma issue (nees to be set to 0.55 for correct gamma for me) Disabling LUT has no affect. Unfortunately I do not remember the latest version that worked, because I deleted them before upgrading :( I am using the default settings, even after wiping the default settings file. As far as I can tell .exr does not suffer from it. It seems to be a 8bit jpg and png issue.

All media is 777 Cmus 81481 songs Minidlna 80031 songs (based on the web interface) Now the difference might not seem alot given the amount of media but that is like 1450 songs missing if the stats are representational. This is hard to debug I do not even know what is missing what. Any ideas or recommendations?
