Price dispatch mode has been utilized to solve the economic dispatch problem in the above mentioned link . what i understood from this example is- "Generator comes on when price level exceeds the dispatch value. Generator is fully on when price level exceed the bids (dispatch value) of generator otherwise it is off". Please correct me if i am wrong. my doubt is- (1) can we include the ramp up and ramp down limit of the generator along with the price dispatch...

hi , I am new to openDSS. I have tried to solve some basic example given in manual. but now i want to solve the Economic Dispatch problem with distributed energy sources and storage. can we fix the generator's generation limit in opendss itself for solving the economic dispatch problem.
