This is a big problem at least in the Mono port. This is how Keepass 2 looks on current Ubuntu on a laptop with a 3840x2160 screen with default OS display settings (scale: 200%, fractional scaling off): With fractional scaling on, icon size is more reasonable, but that makes things in the OS look worse generally (e.g. text gets blurry).
