I might be an unusual case, but on my Dell laptops, I use Equalizer APO with enhancements disabled on the Playback devices, and the Capture devices. If I enable enhancements, then I get forced audio processing that I don't want, and with enhancements enabled, Equalizer APO modifies my audio signals perfectly fine. Every time I open Configuration Editor I get a popup saying "Audio enhancements are not enabled for the device", and I have to press "No" three times, it's mildly annoying. What's even...
