Hello there, Sorry to open up again the subject. I agree and understood on how to do it with a controller for permanent regime. Now, is there a way to do it dynamically ? And obtain the evolution of the flow as a function of the time ? It is highly probable that it will become permanent quickly enough but I'll be interested to see the dynamic, the evolution time ... And several other parameters as the temperature evolution dynamics for instance. Thanks a lot for your help on this wonderful tool that...
Another idea to see this modeling would be to imagine a pressurized gas, separated from a tube (where the gas is at a lower pressure) with a closed valve. Let's assume an instantaneous opening of the valve. What is the flow going through the tube ? How to compute it ? I assume that Dynamic Modelling is my solution but it seems that when I apply a flow, DWSIM computes the pressure drop, but I am not able to do it on the other direction... Is it silly to try to model it like this ? Again, thanks A...
Up ! Also interested on the subject :)
Hello there, also interested on the subject ! If there's an update, be happy to hear about it :)
Hello there, First of all, thanks a lot for the fantastic job you've performed on DWSIM, it's a great tool ! It is possible that my question is easy to solve, sorry in advance I'm a full beginner on the subject. Imagine a tank where a gas is stored at high pressure (let's say 210 bars, 0°C). This gas, when going out from the tank, goes through an orifice. I would like to compute the flow and the pressure that goes through this orifice when dimensions, pressure and temperature are fixed at feed. I...
