    Great answer, thanks.

Let's say someone is making a paid course about an embedded project and wants to use QP as a part of it. The course is not about the QP specifically but is used nonetheless. The code is completely open-source (closed source would kind of defeat the purpose) but the content itself would be paid for. What is the correct license in that case? On one hand, the project is non commercial in the sense that the device will not be sold but the course itself would generate profit so I'm not sure what QP license...

Ok, it makes sense from the backward portability sense but why don't we have a tick function that won't assert on full buffer when we have the same functionality for posting and creating dynamic arrays? In the function QF_tickX_ there is the call to QACTIVE_POST(act, &t->super, sender); So my proposed function would just call QACTIVE_POST_X with the parameters passed by the QF_tickX_.

Great I'm looking forward to it in the next release!

Makes sense now that you explained it but that kinda defeats the purpose of local filters kinda. I always try to publish as many events as I can because I think that it really helps with the encapsulation and maintenance of the code. I wanted to make a sequence diagram out of published events of specific AOs but that is not possible if I am correct. Maybe the information if the AO is responsible for posting an event could be embedded into QS_QF_PUBLISH record so that some kind of filtering could...

That is the problem. I did setup local filters and my AOs do have unique prio since I'm using QV. As I was saying it's like setting local filters doesn't have any effect on the QS output. I did receive confirmation that the local filters were set in the QS output but the published signal continued to be displayed. I will try changing state machine implementation to QHsm because there was already a bug in the previous version on QView that was fixed.

I maybe wasn't as clear. I am using QView for setting up the filters. In code, I disabled every QS record, and then I wanted to enable just the one I want through the QView. In Local-Filters/AO IDs... I tried enabling all, disabling all, enable/disable a specific AO but no matter what I did there was still the same QS record about the event being published. It seems like it had absolutely no effect on the QS output.
