I tried 1.26.14 yesterday: Deliberately initiated approximately 20 prompts for a key in the secure desktop. Both inputting a key or cancelling has so far returned me to the regular desktop every time. Seems to be resolved. Thanks again. 🙂

Yep, happening on quite a range of Debian VPSes. (22 of mine at the moment.) If you want to update Webmin to 1.940-2 you can do so manually as follows: wget https://download.webmin.com/download/repository/pool/contrib/w/webmin/webmin_1.940-2_all.deb dpkg -i webmin_1.940-2_all.deb You are bypassing GPG signature verification though, so during wget ensure you use a HTTPS URL and that the origin web server is 108.60.199.109. (Not solid verification mind!)

This issue was fixed in 1.882, so of course you'll still experience this issue in 1.881.
