Sorry for the double post, but it seemed more relevant to add to my OP than to edit it: there's something wrong with fan speed readings in the main window. In manual mode, level 7 says the fan (there's only one on my laptop) runs at app. 425 rpm, and it's quite audible. In Smart Mode 1, level 6 is supposed to run the fan at almost 700 rpm, and I can barely hear it? Can someone explain how exactly fan speeds are determined relative to the levels?
Hi everyone, I recently installed TPF on my Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 sporting a Pentium P6100 CPU, and it works OK. I have a question, though: TPF comes with built-in levels for fan speeds, from 0 (fan not turning) to 128 (?), where the fan runs full speed and makes my laptop sound like Concorde on take-off.
