Greeting! I was wondering if we can use OpenDSS to run primary power flow which is the power flow of a network considering only the primary feeders of the network and the secondary loads is modeled as fixed load at specific locations of the primary feeder. Hello, I work at a distribution company and we use a software called PVL. This software gives the rating power, the loading, thermal loading, etc for each feeder. I am trying to work on OpenDSS as it is more flexible. In OpenDSS, each feeder consists of many lines or sections. at each node, there is a transformer or a load. The results in OpenDSS are for each section of the feeder. Is there any way to calculate the loading for the whole feeder ? Also I should mention that the network is mesh grid...
