Issue apparently was that the Mirage driver was on both machines after update to Win10. Uninstalling the driver resolved the issue.

Now running Enigmail version 1.9.9 (20171210-1358) and gnupg-w32-2.2.4_20171220 Four rows in error console all related to BirdieSync. I will post if this resolves the issues I am having. Appreciate the assistance.
First of all, how old is your 2.0a1pre version and which version of GnuPG do you use? On the Win7 machine: enigmail-nightly-2.0a1pre-all.xpi downloaded on 2016-09-24 have no idea how old that would be. installed to solve (it did) an issue Enigmail had with keys in Thunderbird gnupg-w32-2.1.15_20160818 possibly "Many other bug fixes" in later versions fixed this issue? nothing otherwise specifically noted in the change log. ability to send a draft seems to indicate it's not a GnuPG issue? nor is the...

You can then cancel - but the send button is no longer active You can then save it as a draft Select Edit Then press send again. Most of the time, it sends. if not wash, rinse, repeat ~ until it does running Enigmail 2.0a1pre Thunderbird 52.5.0 this problem has been around quite some time it's getting downright annoying. Fix or workaround appreciated TIA
