Dunno...I don't use Windows restore...well not consciously...but surely wind restore if it did kick in and restore to a point erlier then it'd just remove VVV altogether? Strangely, after this happened I rebiult the catalogues and now they they all seem to survive switch off...so so far it's working?
Created catalogues for all my drives....switched on today and VVV apears to be in a virgin state...all 'view' tabs are greyed out, volumes is greyed out...I've searchewd C deive for *.vvv files and nothing's showing up at all...so I can't find the back up files?? EDIT. well, I rebuilt the catalogue trees for a few drives and now when I turn the PC off and on again....the catalogue is there...so what went wrong before??
