Hi André, Sorry, but I don't use lmde. I tested it on debian testing (bullseye). Same situation, but remastersys don't break your system. After grub-pc installed on your system, no problem with efi boot, grub working fine. I made a custom dist iso on debian-mate testing without any problems on my efi laptop.

Tested on Debian 10.6 fresh installed system. Install it with gdebi without any dependency problems.

I probed it on debian 10 legacy system. Working without i modify anything. What i did as root on pure debian 10 mate after install: apt update apt install gdebi wget I downloaded the rematersys package, install it with gdebi. start...

If you want to make a legacy bootable iso only, you must to edit the /usr/bin/remastersys script. Yo dont need this section from xorriso part: -eltorito-alt-boot \ -eltorito-platform 0xEF -eltorito-boot boot/grub/efi.img \

Probe the new remastersys version on debian 10. If not working, i'll make a test on buster.
