    Hi thank you for the quick reply. When I leave that blank space after .lib xschem doesn't find the library at all. I attached a picture below. Quotation marks don't matter the results is the same. Thank you.

    Hi Marcel, thank you for the quick reply. Are you refering to : vin vin GND pulse(0 That is the voltage source vin, which is defined like this : value=pulse(0 1.8 1ns 1ns 1ns 5ns 10ns). I have attached the whole image of the netlist and the voltage source vin and how it is defined.

    Hi, I've been trying to set up xschem and ngspice for a while now, but with no succces so far. For the setup I tried with the tutorials from Stefan from his youtube channel, but I coudn't make those work. After I followed this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5ollq9Nbl8&t=24s) which sets up your system with Windows subsystem for Linux, it worked somewhat. The problem I am facing is that when I try to simulate i get this error : unkown subckt : xm1 net1.
