The error occurs shortly after resuming from hibernation. I noticed that my network connection is (recently) not resuming properly so I think the problem could also reside there. Usually I get that it can't find a network connection (as it's trying to early, before a connection can be established at Windows startup)....

I noticed Windows Task Scheduler did not have it set to run for Windows 10. The message has not reappeared. I've installed 1.4.1 myself, just to see if where this checker is installed. I don't get it when it's being run. I'm trying to figure this out. Download and copy to c:\program files\equalizerapo\config, the folder where Peace is located. In the settings, first tab, you can enter a time value for showing a tooltip (default 10000 ms) and an initial delay for showing a tooltip (default 200 ms). 10 seconds give the user quite some time to read the tooltip....

Maybe "Last Configuration.peace" is one I'm thinking about. My last reply mistakenly said PEACE had access rights issues when I meant to say the files we're talking about were the culprits.. As Equalizer APO doesn't have commands to process the audio is then unchanged. So basically switching on and off is providing Equalizer APO with or without commands....

Isn't there a little bit more to the switching? I thought switching PEACE "ON / OFF" is a little bit different and might involve other files. I'm not positive because I haven't looked at the code in a while. On 5/21/2021 3:13 AM, Peter Verbeek wrote: There's one file Peace needs: "peace.txt" in c:\program files\equalizerapo\config. Peace writes Equalizer APO commands to a temporarly file then copies this file to peace.txt overwriting the previous one. By the command "Include: peace.txt" in the "config.txt"...
