Yes, this is often a problem. Make sure that if Golly is 32-bit that Python is too, or both 64-bit. We should probably try and detect this specific thing in order to tell the user. Hi Dylan, I made the Banks examples in Golly, so I can help. Read his PhD thesis: http://www.bottomlayer.com/bottom/banks/banks_commentary.htm And watch the constructor example. There's a script too - Python/make-Banks-IV-constructor.py The only input to the constructor are the signals coming along the two data lines. It's all about the arrival times of those signals.
