hi there, i updated my installer script to reflect recent jamulus changes. https://gitlab.com/tigabeatz/jamulus_server_on_azure Create resources needed to run a jamulus server and install jamulus per virtual machine extension. Jamulus can be setup to record each session into a storage accounts file share, to be accessed later. No manual activities on the server should be needed.

Hi, some notes for band rehearsals https://sourceforge.net/p/llcon/discussion/rehearsalroom/thread/2cde249da3/#060b . i find working with a band online realy prone to communication errors so taking time learning to communicate "right" in your band context online seems equally important to get your setup right. ;-) What makes my setup realy easy is the "loopback" capability of my rme audio interface. with this, i can easily route my signals like MICs -> DAW -> Jamulus -> DAW -> Headphones without...
Where are you located ;-) Mainz, so thats pretty close to the server location, i guess That is not possible with your setup. indeed

hi, i a m playing drums, too. personally, like others mentioned here, edrums with a total latency below 40ms are playable, IF i use closed headphones and work with a relatively high volume to compensate for the edrums accoustic strokes. For our sax player, this is quite harder. Sor far, a band reaherasal or jamming with well knowns songs works quite well, but workig on new songs is hard with added network and processing latency. Debugging with different OSes, setups and acccoustic situations is a...
BTW the next release of the client will show if the server is recording. thanks, :-) this is cool. better wait, then parsing logs. :-)
