Thanks for the link Paul. But to be honest, it didn't help me. What helped and solved the problem was to update the computer to Xubuntun 20.04 and the coresponding Mono Version.

On the machine which is working fine, I have mono 3.2.8+dfsg-4ubuntu1.1 On the machine which fails to load it is 4.2.1.102+dfsg2-7ubuntu4 So, on the machine with the newer version it is not working. I have not much knowledge of Linux and I find this very odd. Regards, Thomas

Hello, I have two installations of Keepass2 on two different computers both running under Xubuntu. The .kdbx file that I want to use is on a ftp-Server and I connect with ftp. With the first computer everything works fine. When I try to load the same file with the second computer I receive the error: ftp://user@server.com/path/file.kdbx (user) Failed to load the specified file! Server returned an error: 501 PASV: Operation not permitted Any ideas, any help ? Thanks in advance, Thomas
