    I found the solution to my problem in the connection configuration: my wifi terminal appeared twice with the same name, one of which was marked "never used". I deleted it and discover has been working normally ever since.

    I just made an observation that surprised me and confirms a loading problem. Whatever the state of the math menu (expanded or compressed), by clicking on the drop down menu, there is only 3 items: math mode, math style and math environnement. As soon as I modify one of the following options: compress/extend math/text menu, the missing items appear. There is no problem with the Text Menu.     Hello Bernard, the problem occurs every time I open Alpha. I work mostly on latex files, and latex mode is enabled.
