Okay, well then I'll have to find another 32 bit distro for now. I do like PeppermintOS and I will use it for small 64 bit machines. I have just started volunteering for a local Repair Cafe here in the UK which has just started a Linux Repair Cafe (I think it's a really badly worded title because we are not repairing Linux!) It is primarily helping people to prevent/reduce e-waste by keeping "old" or older tech alive utilising Linux. Keep up the good work. I hope you do manage to keep a 32 bit version...

I am also having this problem trying to install PeppermintOS-Debian-32_loaded.iso. I tried the terminal commands pre-install as suggested above and it still came up with same error message. I m trying to install on a DELL Inspiron 6000, CPU: Intel Pentium M Processor 1.86 GHz GPU: Radeon X300 RAM: 2GB DDR2 Storage: 60 GB SATA I see suggestions to try PeppermintOS Mini but all the links I try are broken! I hope you got past this point. I have just tried PeppermintOS for the first time today and got this GRUB screen also. I stumbled upon putting the live USB stick back in and booting into the start menu and choosing change UEFI settings, I went into Boot settings menu and changed secure boot mode to ENABLED. I saved and exited - rebooted and it worked! I don't know if this will help anyone but it worked for me. PS. During installation I also got it seeming to hang for ages at 92%, for a good 12 to...
