Indeed it is. The config files from irrecord start with: # Please take the time to finish this file as described in # https://sourceforge.net/p/lirc-remotes/wiki/Checklist/ # and make it available to others by sending it to # <lirc@bartelmus.de> So, we should be sending an email instead.

A little system information... App version: 3.3b3 (Fedora rpm) x64 OS: Fedora Linux 37 (KDE Plasma) I've had this problem for months across operating systems, though.
