Hi, does anyone have ever used the Homogenous equilibrium reaction in using a ChemSep column? Is there a particular configuration in reactive volume that should be used? I tried different configurations but the only way to get the reagents to be converted is using kinetic approach. thanks Tommaso

Hi Daniel, can you please explain me how the solution through ChemSep Interface is different with respect to DWSIM Solve Flowsheet. I cannot really understand how the same output can lead to two completlely different solutions in terms of temperature Thanks

Do you mean if I'm using CapeOpen properties? This is how is set the thermodynamic view of ChemSep.

I'm using SRK model in DWSIM while EOS for k-value and SRK for both enthalpy and EOS in ChemSEP. Am I wrong or results should be the same? How does the solution through ChemSep window is different with respect to DWSIM Solver Launcher?

Hi, can someone how does the DWSIM solver works when ChemSep column is used in the flowsheet? Why do I get different results (e.g. more than 50K in outlet temperature) if I solve the column using ChemSep interfance with respect to DWSIM "Solve flowsheet" command? Thanks

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can help me setting up an equilibrium reaction through a ChemSep reactive absorption/stripping column. I've found lots of example with kinetic one but nothing concerning equilibrium reaction. I tried to set all parameters of the target reaction but in any test I run conversion is not taking place, neither changing equilibrium constants. Thanks Tommaso

Hi all, I have a question concerning used defined compounds. While modelling ChemSep columns, does user defined compund automatically get imported in chemsep database or I have to defined new compounds in chemsep DB?

Hi, could someone explain me how does reaction and compound import work from DWSIM to ChemSep when using ChemSep obejct (e.g. adsorption column)? I'm running into troubles using user-defined compound and ChemSep columns and issues get even more serious when trying to add reaction in the chemsep configuration window: for example even if the reaction is balanced the Stoichiometric coefficient table is still "red". Any suggestions? thanks
