Hi all, I have a STAF/STAX environment running and I run many different tasks on my target. Sometimes, it happens, when i create a new task, that I try a new script, the script is running as expected, but when i insert it into my STAF environment, it fails with different errors (segmentation fault, ...) I wonder, what is the root cause for that - what can I do to solve sucjh problems - what kind of command is allowed to run in a STAX environment and what doesn't? update: on the backup server, all files get the current date & time and do not have the original timestamp any more. So areca is not able to determin if a file hase changed or not - it thinks every file has changed - this leads to a full backup every time. FTP server is ProFTPD Areca is V7.5 Can anybody help?

I have 2 servers to backup. first backups to local directory and rsyncs to backup server. second uses ftp to writeto backup server. on the backup server, data looks like differential for first server and full backup for second server. The configuration for the 2 backup sources only differ in <medium type=""> in the calling script, I use the -d -o parameter. Why don't I see the differences only?</medium>
