Sorry, this is resolved now. I changed my sound device from default to plughw:1 and it works now. I'm now suspecting this problem had more to do with a pacman update than an update of this.
Could not open default for write
Fair enough. I'll just ask that you don't remove it like scid has. I'm a coder too, I just have literally zero experience with tcl. I'm more of a dash app running on nginx kinda guy, but I'll start familiarizing myself with the code and learning the xfcc protocol and I'll see what I can do.
XFCC not working for mychess.de or schemingmind.com
I am on Arch Linux now and have changed the PKGBUILD file for the regular release pkg they have on aur with one that will build from svn instead. I'd put it on Aur myself but their guidelines say "The submitted PKGBUILDs must not build applicationsalready in anyof theofficialbinaryrepositoriesunder any circumstances. Check theofficial package database https://archlinux.org/packages/for the package. If any version of it exists,do notsubmit the package." Pretty silly to me but there it is. I can paste...

Yes! Thanks. Do you have one of those buy you a cup of coffee account things like some open source developers have?
