    Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me if TRIM effects snapraid Parity or Data drives when using an SSD in the same way it effects raid or other solutions like Unraid? I assume this doesn't matter since snapraid just sees everything as just a bunch of files, but I figured I'd ask before I start using SSDs all over the place. (^_^);

    Hi Everyone, When adding a new drive to your array, is it correct that only the new drive and the parity drive(s) need to have data read/updated? Or do all drives in the array need to be read in order to add the new drive to your pool?

    Hi Everyone, I sometimes experience USB Drives randomly disconnecting under heavy use. If this happens during a sync, it will fail as writing/reading from the disk won't work. If I reset the USB disk, will starting the sync again resume where it left off? Or do I always have to start at the begining again? For that matter, is there a proper procedure to make sure nothing was broken/damaged before resuming?

    Hi Everyone, So I have a few drives which are encrypted with Veracrypt at the device level. So I wanted to use Veracrypt to mount them, and then have snapraid add those mount points as data disks to scan. However, I noted that when running snapraid, it says "Error accessing 'disk'..." since for some reason it cannot read the files at that location. Does Snapraid require disk level access in order to add them? I was under the impression that all it needs is a stable filesystem / directory mount point...

    Hi Everyone, When you perform a sync operation, does snapraid verify that the data your building your parity information against is error free, before it actually performs the operation? Or will sync blindly recompute parity, without first checking that the existing files are error free? Essentially, I was wondering if scrubbing or checking for errors was something that has to be done first before performing a sync operation. I'd hate to be in a situation where sync backs up silent errors introduced...
