peate9, that is what I am doing as well - DVDs with Youtube videos of concerts! haha Some of mine are 1080 HD, some are 720 HD, but the majority are 480p. I have a 40 inch tv, so it is very reassuring to know that the way you've done yours has looked as good as the originals on your 60 inch tv! :) I don't have mplex, though. I've been using ClipGrab and grabbing the videos in the "Original format". I don't know if that makes a difference - it probably does, because I am not knowledgeable doing other...
Thank you very much for your response, Manolito. :) Wow, haha, I guess it really isn't so simple. So far, the only files I have used in DVD Styler have been .mp4 files. The bitrates of each of those always vary. I have basically tried to keep the DVD Styler project at 8 Mb/s so it wouldn't lose video quality. That is interesting about how the bitrate changes according to if there is a high action movie, or brighter scenes, or clips with lots of scene changes. I never knew that. So does that mean...
Hi, I'm new here but have been using DVDStyler for a couple of years. It has only been recently, however, that I realised I can fit about 74 minutes (if I remember correctly) onto a dvd before the Mb/s drops below 8Mb/s. I'm not an expert at this (obviously, haha!) so if someone can answer a few questions I have in "layman's terms", that would be great and I'd really appreciate it. :) My questions are: - When does the video quality begin to visibly degrade? - Is it when the Mb/s drops below 8 Mb/s?...
