I followed a tutorial posted on Digital Ocean for installing Ubuntu 18.04, Lamp Server, Encrypt, and all of their recommendations prior to installing Webmin. Then I followed their instructions for installing Webmin, and it seemed that I had no problems at all - no errors with any of the steps. However, when I navigate to my website where the Webmin login page should show up, the page says "Index of /" and not the Webmin login. Does anyone know what could possibly have gone wrong? THanks, Rob
I just tried the server again and it is back online now. I was able to update packages and install Webmin. Hurray! Rob
Hello, I have been trying to install Webmin on a new Ubuntu 18.04 server, and have followed many online help pages. It appears that I am up to the point where I can install Webmin, but the process fails because my server cannot connect to: download.webmin.com server. I checked on a website called www.isitdownrightnow.com and it verified that the server is down, and reports it has been down for over 16 hours. Will this server be available soon? Thanks, Rob
