I had to go back to a backup .kdbx file once since I sent my original message. Everything worked well since then and without any invitation to Do you Want to set them to the current default values recommended)? After reading your message, I reproduce the problem : * go to Database Setting/Security, * hit the Test button * close database * Open it Again, my saved passwords are encrypted and unusable (like ��D��5�~). Any help appreciated. For a few yeaars, I have been using keepass on my devices (pc, tab10 and phone). Tonight, when accessing my kdbx file, I get the following pop-up. C:/…/myVault.kdbx The key transformation settings of the database are weak. Do you Want to set them to the current default values recommended)?. I looked under Database Settiung/Security to see what choices were given, hit the Cancel button, and answered No in the pop-up. Now all passwords are crypted and unusable (like ��D��5�~)....
