Hi Jeffrey, I thank you for your kindly request. Unfortunately I have always the same error "Operation was canceled" when changing one value of lightness or contrast. This situation has not changed even after all updates. In the mean time I got used to adjust only the value of threshold with lightness and contrast zero as you recommended before. Hi Jeffrey, I tested today the version 2.2.0-1 of gscan2pdf from 2018/11/30 on ubuntu 19.04. The test was negativ with the answer 'Operation was cancelled' as usual. Then I tried the latest version 2.5.6-1 of gscan2pdf, but always with the same error. I remain of the conviction that the error was caused by the update of ubuntu from 18.10 to 19.04.
